How to Reach

🚶‍♂️

By Foot Through the Path

To reach the Sunken Reliquary, embark on a journey along the long path leading from the main location. Follow the path until you arrive at the fishing area marked by three large altars and several rocks.

Infusion Altar & Mella

At the heart of the Sunken Reliquary lies the Infusion Altar, a mystical feature that adds depth to your fishing adventure. Upon reaching the end of the entrance path, you'll encounter three Infusion Altars. Interacting with these altars can summon Mella, a mysterious entity that engages players in a special dialogue.

To activate the full potential of the Infusion Altars, players must place three specific essences—Tidefall Essence, Requis Essence, and Thalass Essence—into their respective altars. This summoning process allows players to engage in a rod upgrading dialogue with Mella, where they can choose to upgrade their rods using the essences and a selected fish. Be aware that once the rod is upgraded, the essences and fish used in the process are consumed.

Omnithal Hunts

The Sunken Reliquary is renowned for its thrilling Omnithal Hunts, which can manifest spontaneously at this location. These hunts offer players the chance to catch the rare and elusive Omnithal fish, adding an element of unpredictability and excitement to the fishing experience.

The hunts occur randomly and last for 10 minutes or until at least one player successfully catches the Omnithal. Notably, these hunts cannot be triggered or elongated using the Sundial Totem, adding to their exclusivity. Should the hunt end without a successful catch, players will be informed that the Omnithal has disappeared back into the shadows of the reliquary.

There is also a rare occurrence where an Awakened Omnithal Hunt may replace the standard Omnithal Hunt. This even rarer variant offers a heightened challenge and reward, providing an exhilarating experience for those lucky enough to encounter it.
