How to Reach
Portal Entry
To reach the Northern Summit, players must enter a large portal located in the southwest region of the map. This portal transports players to the middle of the ocean in a new area, from where they can head southeast to finally arrive at the Northern Summit.
Mechanics to be aware of
While adventuring through the Northern Expedition, players need to manage their oxygen and temperature levels carefully. As you ascend the mountain, both oxygen and temperature levels will start to drop after a certain height, particularly in the Overgrowth Caves. If your oxygen runs low, the edges of your screen will turn red, and if the temperature drops, the screen will frost over, signaling impending danger. Should either level deplete completely, you'll respawn at your last spawn point.
To combat these challenges, players can purchase various Oxygen Tanks (Basic, Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced) and a Winter Cloak. The Winter Cloak is particularly valuable, as it keeps you warm indefinitely. Additionally, campfires at campsites offer warmth, and refill stations are available to replenish oxygen levels.
