How to Reach
Unlock the Gate
To enter The Depths, first complete the Vertigo Bestiary to 100%. Once you have achieved this, locate the door near the red gems and speak to The Keeper NPC to unlock the gate. This can only be done after meeting the bestiary requirements.
Skip the Obby
After unlocking the gate, you will face an obby with falling platforms. Use a Glider or Advanced Glider to safely skip this section and enter The Depths with ease.
Exit Strategies
Once inside, you can leave The Depths using a Conception Conch, Magic Mirror, or Traveler's Whistle. These items provide a convenient escape from the depths of this mysterious location.
The Depths - Maze
A challenging maze awaits players in The Depths who seek the Rod of the Depths. Unlocking the maze requires the player to place two specific items on their designated pedestals, similar to the process of gaining access to The Depths itself. Once the maze is open, it remains accessible, and players can navigate its twists and turns to find the Rod of the Depths available for purchase.
Navigating this maze is no small feat, even with Advanced Diving Gear. It is recommended to consult a guide to successfully complete this section and claim the rewards. At the conclusion of the maze, players will find a hidden passage that leads to a whirlpool, which will transport them back to The Depths near the Merchant and Angler NPC.
Fishing Mechanics

These rods can multiply the value of catches by four to ten times, making The Depths a lucrative fishing location. Players can earn between 50k to 150k in just 15 minutes with the right equipment.
