Sub Locations
The Crystal Fissure is a highlight of Boreal Pines, serving as the spawning ground for the Frostwyrm. This mysterious cave houses Corbin, an NPC encased in ice. Players can thaw him by using a Lantern, and in gratitude, Corbin rewards them with a Cryogenic Crystal.
Frostwyrm Hunt
The Frostwyrm Hunt is a sought-after event in Boreal Pines. This mythical creature has a 2.5% chance of appearing at the start of each day or night during the winter season, making it a rare find. Players can increase their chances by using Sundial Totems to spawn the hunt, which lasts for 15 minutes or until the Frostwyrm is caught.
Fishing Rods
Boreal Pines introduces two unique fishing rods: the Boreal Rod and the Cryolash. The Boreal Rod can be purchased near Marvin, under a tree, offering players a new tool for their fishing expeditions.
