In the world of Fisch, Server Events are dynamic occurrences that can significantly affect your fishing experience. These events happen randomly within the game server, or they can be triggered using specific items like Totems. From altering catch rates and spawning exclusive fish to providing unique server-wide effects, these events are integral to maximizing your fishing success.

Server Events are influenced by various conditions such as the in-game time, weather, and even real-life occasions. When an event occurs, players are notified through a text message that appears on their screen. Understanding these events and how to manipulate them can give you an edge in catching rare fish and obtaining valuable items.

Time and Weather Events

The in-game weather and time cycles are crucial in determining the spawn rates of certain fish. Using Totems, players can control these conditions to their advantage. For instance, some fish appear more frequently during specific weather conditions or times of day, and manipulating these factors can increase your catch rate.

Day and Night Cycle

The day and night cycle in Fisch lasts approximately 25 minutes, divided equally between day and night. This cycle influences the spawn rates of Diurnal and Nocturnal fish, with a 90% reduction in spawn rate for fish caught outside their preferred time unless you have the Nocturnal Rod, which negates this effect. Certain events, like the Night of the Fireflies, depend on this cycle to occur.

Weather

Weather conditions in Fisch are random and can be altered using specific Totems. Each weather type, other than clear skies, can be summoned instantly, affecting the spawn rates of fish. Preferred weather increases spawn rates by 35%, providing a strategic advantage. Uniquely, some weather-related events, like Fallen Stars, have additional effects such as granting luck boosts or enabling special purchases.

Seasons

Seasons in Fisch last about 9.6 hours in real-time and apply universally across all servers. Fish have preferred seasons that can increase their spawn rate by 25%, with an additional boost if using the Seasons Rod. Catching fish outside their preferred season results in a reduced spawn rate, highlighting the importance of timing your fishing activities with the seasons.

Eclipse

The Eclipse is a rare event that can also be summoned with an Eclipse Totem. During an Eclipse, the server experiences unique visual changes and specific opportunities, such as catching Solarblaze mutations, appear. This event is critical for gathering certain items and activating specific game features, like the Phantom Megalodon spawn and accessing the Ancient Archives.

Aurora Borealis

The Aurora Borealis is a night-only event that significantly boosts luck server-wide by 700%. Although it occurs naturally with low probability, players can trigger it with an Aurora Totem. This event enhances your chances of appraising valuable items and catching rare fish throughout the night, making it a highly sought-after occurrence.

Meteor

The Meteor event can happen randomly or be forced with a Meteor Totem at the Ancient Isle. It involves a meteor crashing into a fixed location, creating a crater filled with gemstones essential for crafting fishing rods. While getting struck by a meteor can result in player death, it also awards titles, adding an element of risk and reward.

Blizzard

The Blizzard is an event that occurs naturally or can be forced with a Blizzard Totem. It affects the Northern Expedition by drastically lowering temperatures, which can be fatal if not managed properly. This is currently the only way to obtain the Blighted mutation, emphasizing the importance of preparation and survival skills during this event.
