Overview
Pierre is the Tutorial NPC located on Moosewood, the starting island in Fisch. He plays a crucial role in helping new players get acquainted with the game's mechanics. As soon as players join the game, they are directed to Pierre, where he provides essential guidance for beginners.
Pierre helps players learn the basics by starting them on their first fishing quest.
Dialogue and Quests
When players first interact with Pierre, he greets them warmly and offers assistance to help them get started. The initial task he assigns is to catch three fish of any kind, kicking off the 'Get Settled (#2)' quest.
Throughout the quest, Pierre checks in with players, offering encouragement and wishing them luck as they work on their task.
Once players complete the quest, Pierre congratulates them and offers an additional task. He suggests they earn some in-game currency, C$, and purchase a new fishing rod, providing further motivation to explore the game's mechanics. Players can choose to accept this task or decline it, with Pierre wishing them luck in either case.
