Fisch ยท Fishing Location

Overview

Hades' Underworld of Indefinite is the fifth enigmatic layer in the Wrath of Olympus expansion of Fisch. This deep-game area is shrouded in mystery and filled with unique mechanics, making it an intriguing yet challenging destination for seasoned players. Here, adventurers can get their hands on Hades' Soul-Scythe, a coveted item that requires dedication and strategic planning to acquire.

This underworld is known for its distinctive atmosphere, featuring a hauntingly dark environment that challenges players to adapt and strategize. It is designed for players who have progressed well into the game, offering complex sub-areas and intricate mechanics that test the skills of even the most experienced fishers.

A significant draw of this location is its unique currency system involving Wisps and Dark Wisps, which are integral to unlocking various features and events within the underworld. Players will need to engage with these elements to fully explore and conquer the area's challenges.

How to Reach

The Ferryman's Passage

To access Hades' Underworld of Indefinite, players must journey via The Ferryman's boat service, which requires paying a fare of 3 Wisps to unveil the hidden soul pools within this dark realm.

Special Effects

Hades' Underworld of Indefinite introduces a unique currency system involving Wisps and Dark Wisps, which replace the usual fish catches in this area. Wisps can occasionally be caught instead of fish, while Dark Wisps are specifically obtained from Soul Pools.

Offering Wisps to tombstones scattered throughout the underworld has a chance to reveal hidden Soul Pools. However, these pools remain invisible even with the use of a Fish Radar, necessitating payment to The Ferryman to make them temporarily visible.

The fishing minigame in this location also features increased transparency as players make progress, adding an additional layer of complexity to the experience.

Localized Events

The Wisp Haunt event randomly increases the probability of catching Wisps, adding an exciting twist to the fishing experience. Meanwhile, the Soul Scourge can occur when players catch Dark Wisps from Soul Pools, reducing their number to a third and creating potential for the Styx Angler hunt.

During a Soul Scourge, players who manage to catch 15 Dark Wisps will trigger the Styx Angler hunt, a sought-after event that offers unique rewards and challenges.

Styx Angler Hunt

The Styx Angler Hunt is a special event that can only be triggered by catching Dark Wisps during the Soul Scourge. It presents a formidable challenge and is best attempted by players who have prepared thoroughly and are ready to face the tougher aspects of this underworld.

Gate and Maze

To progress through the underworld, players must offer 100 Wisps to the right guard and 25 Dark Wisps to the left guard to access the maze. This maze is enveloped in darkness, necessitating the purchase of a Styx Lantern for 25 Wisps to navigate safely.

At the end of the maze, players can attempt to purchase Hades' Soul-Scythe, provided they have also completed 100% of the Hades' Underworld of Indefinite bestiary. Moreover, a Divine Seal must be broken by surviving a one-minute boss fight, unlocking the path to the Olympian Fissure.

Fish to Catch Here

In Hades' Underworld of Indefinite, players will not find the typical array of fish. Instead, the focus is on collecting Wisps and Dark Wisps, which serve as a unique currency and are central to unlocking various features and events within the area.

The fishing experience here is unlike any other, as the presence of Soul Pools and the task of catching Wisps add layers of strategy and excitement, replacing the traditional fish catches with mystical and rare items.
