Overview
The Animal Event in Fisch was a distinctive and possibly comical event, reminiscent of an April Fools gag, that ran from April 5 to April 19, 2025. It introduced players to the whimsical Animal Pools, which were special fishing zones similar to the game's Golden Tide and Frightful Pools. In these pools, players were able to catch rare fish-mammal hybrids exclusive to this event. Unlike most events in Fisch, the Animal Event did not include a questline, making it only the second of its kind without one, the first being the Fischgiving event.
This event offered a refreshing break from traditional fishing with its intriguing mechanics and the opportunity to encounter unusual creatures. It was also notable for its lack of quests, focusing purely on the joy of discovery and collection. Players were encouraged to explore both the First and Second Seas, each hosting different limited-time bestiaries exclusive to the event.
The Animal Event was particularly memorable for its Octophant Hunt, a thrilling encounter exclusive to the Second Sea. Here, players had to band together to break the bubble surrounding the elusive Octophant by collectively fishing 25 times, adding an engaging cooperative element to the event.

How to Reach
Sail to the First Sea
Navigate your way to the First Sea to explore locations like Ancient Isle, Roslit Bay, and Terrapin Island. These areas were known to host the unique Animal Pools during the event.
Venture to the Second Sea
Embark on a journey to the Second Sea, particularly to Lushgrove, which was a focal point for the Octophant Hunt and other exclusive event activities.
Animal Pools
The Animal Event featured two types of Animal Pools, each offering a chance to catch unique fish-mammals. Regular Animal Pools appeared every 30 minutes of server time and remained active for 5 minutes. These pools could be found in both the First and Second Seas, with spawn locations including Ancient Isle, Roslit Bay, and Terrapin Island in the First Sea, and Lushgrove in the Second Sea. Each sea had its own limited-time bestiary, encouraging players to explore both locations.
Octophant Hunt
A standout feature of the Animal Event was the Octophant Hunt, exclusive to the Second Sea. This event challenged players to catch the elusive Octophant, which was surrounded by a protective bubble. To capture it, players had to collectively fish 25 times to break the bubble, making it a collaborative effort and adding a social aspect to the hunt. The abundance accompanying the hunt consisted of six unique event fish, making it a highly sought-after activity for collectors.
