Accessible through the 'Aquariums' tab in the game's interface, this mechanic serves as both a visual display and an automated farm for XP, C$, and items. Whether you're actively playing or offline, your aquarium continues to generate these resources, making it an essential tool for every angler.

Unlocking the Personal Aquarium becomes possible once you reach level 25, opening up new opportunities to maximize your fishing profits. By strategically placing your fish in the aquarium, you can earn passive income that varies based on the rarity, selling price, and XP value of the fish. Understanding how to optimize this feature will significantly enhance your game progression.

As of version 1.89.0, the system is designed so that the fish generate a portion of their raw value per hour, with offline earnings being a fraction of what you earn online. This makes the Personal Aquarium not just a decoration, but a vital part of your strategy in Fisch.

Inhabitants

Your Personal Aquarium can house a variety of fish characters, each contributing uniquely to your rewards. Some of the notable inhabitants include Sporey, Sporey Mom, Agaric, Sporeticus, Lars, and Old Man Hector. Each fish you place in the aquarium brings its own set of benefits, so choose wisely based on your current needs and goals in the game.

Item Rates

The Personal Aquarium provides hourly rewards, including items that vary depending on the fish's rarity. Notably, Divine Secret fish yield the most items, while Trash fish produce the least. It's important to avoid duplicates in your aquarium, as having more than one of the same fish reduces overall gains. The first duplicate results in a 15% reduction, while subsequent duplicates see further reduced returns.

Fish in the aquarium generate 25% of their selling price and 20% of their XP gain over time. This passive income is a great way to accumulate resources without constant active play.

Optimizing Your Aquarium

To maximize your item production, aim to fill your aquarium with a diverse lineup of high-value fish, particularly those from the Divine Secret category. A setup of eight different Divine Secret fish could yield up to 96 items per hour.

Additionally, some fish, like the Scylla or Apex varieties, are especially profitable and should be prioritized in your aquarium lineup. Be mindful, however, of the size limitations of the aquarium containers, as some larger fish may not fit.

Change History

The Personal Aquarium has undergone several improvements, including an increase in overall C$ earnings and the introduction of two additional fish slots. The item pool has also been expanded significantly, offering a broader selection of rewards. Despite these buffs, some items like 'Splash Snacks' have seen their value decreased from C$25,000 to C$7,500 to balance the economy.
